SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Associate Dean of Athletics and Engagement Ethan Wells published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2026 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

The loss closes the longest win streak in program history, surpassing the previous mark of 12 straight victories set by the 1993-94 squad more than 30 years ago.
